Replacement Power Tool Switch (P/N 651232-8) For Makita Planer Sander

In stock
Regular price $22.99

This trigger type switch has 4 terminals and a locking mechanism. Compatible with several different Makita tools. Switches are commonly replaced parts in power tools. A switch handles all on/off and variable speed functions. They also have a role in electric breaking; they can momentarily reverse electrical polarity. Because switches use mechanical internals, they tend to degrade and wear out over time, eventually requiring replacement.

Trigger Type Switch Compatibility:

  • Makita 1900B, 1900BW, 1902, 1923B, 63004, 6701B, 6501, 9030, 9031, 9032, 9035, 9036, 9046, 9218PB, 9218SB, GV500, GV,6000, N1900B, M102

NOTE: Some common signs of a broken or failing switch are:

  • The tool has completely stopped functioning - it will not turn on
  • The tool operates intermittently, requiring multiple tries to turn on, until eventually it won't turn on at all
  • The variable speed function and electric braking aren't working properly
